Ned Nwoko consultancy fees dispute clarified as senator denies fresh allegations and cites EFCC findings confirming executed contract

Ned Nwoko consultancy fees clarification came in response to what the senator described as misleading reports, which he said misrepresented facts that had already been examined by multiple investigative bodies, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

In a statement signed by his media team, Senator Nwoko maintained that four separate EFCC investigations, including one conducted under the current administration, had reached the same conclusion that the contractual work was properly carried out, while outstanding payments remain subject to agreed terms.

The statement further referenced official records from the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Nigeria, noting that all federal transactions were properly documented, processed and subjected to audit procedures.

Senator Nwoko also dismissed allegations suggesting improper collaboration with the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, describing the claims as unfounded and malicious in nature.

He accused certain individuals of driving what he termed a coordinated misinformation campaign, while stressing that legal steps had already been initiated in response to defamatory publications.

The senator urged members of the public to disregard unverified narratives and rely strictly on official findings and institutional records, reiterating his commitment to due process, transparency and the rule of law.
