Adamu Garba, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria, on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, issued a controversial statement on the social media platform X in which he commented on Israel, religious interpretation, and broader geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Garba further emphasised that individuals who uphold justice and moral conduct exist across all religious groups, insisting that such people deserve “life, liberty and peace” regardless of nationality or belief.
