Adron Homes unveils plans for an Ile-Ife Premium Estate at the 11th Olojo Festival, linking housing development with culture and tourism

Adron Homes and Properties is to take part in the 11th Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun State, as the company deepens its work in the ancient city and sets out plans for a Premium Estate within the Ile-Ife domain.

The 2026 festival, themed “Culture Preservation Through Sustainable Tourism,” is expected to draw traditional rulers, government officials, corporate groups, cultural stakeholders, visitors and the press.

Organisers present the gathering as a celebration of Yoruba heritage and of Ile-Ife’s place as a spiritual and historical centre.

Adron Homes attended the press conference and unveiling of this year’s edition with a Western operations team. The delegation included Ogundapo Odunola, Deputy Managing Director, Western Super-Cluster; Johnson Olugbenga, Assistant Managing Director, Western Galaxy 1; and Shobowale Taiwo, Deputy Sales Manager, Livingspring World.

Their presence was presented as a sign of the company’s growing interest in Ile-Ife and of an effort to link housing with heritage and local growth.

Seyi Oyekunle, Director General, Media, Branding and Corporate Communication at Adron Group, spoke for the Managing Director of Adron Homes and Properties, Mrs Adenike Ajobo.

Oyekunle said the company joined the festival because cultural preservation and lasting development can support each other.

He called the theme timely. Culture, he said, remains part of identity and history, while careful tourism can create work, investment, enterprise and community gain.

Olojo, in his account, is more than a yearly rite. It marks the bond between the past, present and future of Ile-Ife and its standing in Yoruba civilisation.

Oyekunle said Adron Group’s aim goes beyond selling plots and buildings. “At Adron Group, we are in the business of real estate, but our purpose is much bigger than the development of properties. We build homes. We build cities. We build communities,” he said.

The main announcement was the plan for the Adron Homes Ile-Ife Premium Estate. Oyekunle thanked the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, for the confidence and approval given to the company.

That approval, he said, carries a duty to add to Ile-Ife’s growth while treating the city’s history with care.

Adron Homes, he added, would bring its experience and resources to a scheme meant to house residents well, draw investment, support local trade and keep a living tie between Ile-Ife and sons and daughters of Ifeland and Yorubaland at home and abroad.

The estate, he said, should give people in the diaspora a reason to “come home, invest home, build home and preserve home.”

Oyekunle also argued that Ile-Ife should be developed as a destination throughout the year, not only during Olojo. Lasting tourism, he said, ought to put money in the hands of artisans, young people, small businesses and hospitality workers.

He urged younger residents to treat Yoruba culture as a source of work across film, technology, fashion, music, the arts and travel.

The press briefing brought together palace figures, public officials, the Olojo Festival Committee, cultural groups and journalists ahead of the 11th edition.
