Her entry marks a significant development in the constituency’s political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections, as competition begins to intensify among aspirants.

Agbede-Ally, a social entrepreneur and philanthropist, is the daughter of the late Brigadier Godwin Ally. She has built a reputation through years of community-focused initiatives in healthcare, education, and youth empowerment.

She said her ambition is driven by the need to deepen grassroots representation and improve access to development opportunities across the constituency.

“My father served this country with his life, and I have spent the last decade serving our people through philanthropy,” she said.

She added that her focus will be on bridging the gap between governance and local communities while ensuring that constituent voices are effectively represented at the national level.

Agbede-Ally also highlighted her leadership experience as the founding Chief Executive Officer of the HOW Foundation, where she led interventions targeting vulnerable groups.

In 2025, she expanded her development work with the launch of the Agbede Foundation in Obudu, focused on vocational training, healthcare support, and education for underserved communities.

Political observers note that her blend of private sector experience and grassroots engagement may influence voter sentiment as the race develops.
