Sevilla have turned down Venezia’s bid for Akor Adams, with the Spanish club demanding up to €30m as Marseille also show interest in the striker

Spanish club Sevilla have reportedly rejected an offer from newly promoted Serie A side Venezia for Nigerian striker Akor Adams, as transfer interest in the forward continues to grow across Europe.

According to reports, Venezia submitted a bid believed to be below €10 million, which fell short of Sevilla’s valuation of the player.

The La Liga side are understood to be holding out for a fee in the region of €20 million to €30 million for the Nigerian international.

Sevilla only secured Adams from French club Montpellier in January 2025 for around €6 million, making his current valuation a significant rise following his performances.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a productive debut campaign in Spain, contributing 10 goals and three assists in 32 appearances across all competitions.

With three years remaining on his contract, Sevilla are in no rush to sell and remain firm on their asking price despite interest from Italy.

French side Olympique Marseille are also reportedly monitoring the situation, with the striker attracting attention ahead of the new season.
