The appointment by the Mayor of Bolingbrook,  Mayor  Roger C. Claar,  is in recognition of her humanitarian services around the community, in spite of her busy shedule.

Fashina, a graduate of Healthcare Management and Hospitality Management from the Triton College, Illinois, is expected to serve as the Commissioner till April 2022 when another Commissioner will have been duly appointed.

The fashionable mother of three, who runs Exquisite Touch Events, has been identified as one woman who is committed to the service of humanity and one who has invested with seriousness the words of famous English writer, John Bunyan, who said: ‘’You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”

For those who may not know, Bolingbrook is a Southwest suburb of Chicago in Will and DuPage counties in the U.S. State of Illinois.

As at the 2017 U.S. Census, the population of Bolingbrook stood at 75,201. It is the 17th largest incorporated place in Illinois and the state’s 2nd largest village.
