APGA announces screening dates for Senate, House of Representatives and State Assembly aspirants ahead of its 2026 primary elections
The All Progressives Grand Alliance has released its screening timetable for aspirants contesting Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly seats ahead of the 2026 primary elections.
APGA releases 2026 screening timetable primaries was announced in a statement issued on Sunday in Awka by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ejimofor Opara.
According to the schedule, screening for National Assembly aspirants will hold on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja, while State House of Assembly aspirants will be screened in Awka on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The party stated that all screening sessions will commence at 10am and directed aspirants to appear in person with original academic certificates, warning that photocopies will not be accepted.
It further stressed that the exercise is free of charge and cautioned aspirants against making any payments to individuals or committees under any guise.
APGA Sets 2026 screening dates primaries also noted that only cleared aspirants and screening committee members will be allowed into the venues to ensure orderliness.
The party added that screening arrangements for aspirants outside Anambra State will be communicated later through official channels.
