Ayodele Fayose PDP Betrayal: Ekiti PDP blasts former governor for calling the party “dead,” accusing him of aiding APC and losing all political relevance
Ayodele Fayose PDP Betrayal has ignited a fierce political storm in Ekiti State, as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially called on the former governor to leave the party he publicly declared “dead.”
The backlash came after Fayose’s appearance on Channels TV, where he disparaged the PDP. In response, Ekiti PDP’s Caretaker Committee Chairman, Dare Adeleke, condemned Fayose’s remarks, branding him a serial betrayer.
Adeleke accused Fayose of supporting the ruling APC in Ekiti and undermining the PDP out of personal frustration.
“He’s angry because we blocked his attempt to hijack the party structure,” Adeleke stated. “No one in the PDP is following him anymore.”
Adeleke added that Fayose’s recent moves prove his political relevance has faded. “Why stay in a party you claim is dead?” he asked. “He only supports Tinubu because of tribal sentiments, not merit.”
Asserting the PDP’s strength ahead of upcoming elections, Adeleke concluded, “Fayose is the king of betrayal, but PDP will win.”
