Dani Carvajal backs Cristiano Ronaldo to reach 1,000 career goals, praising the Portuguese superstar as a “beast” in comments to AS
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has expressed confidence that Cristiano Ronaldo will reach the milestone of 1,000 career goals, praising the former Madrid forward for his extraordinary qualities and describing him as “a beast”.
Carvajal made the comments in an interview with Spanish newspaper AS, where he backed Ronaldo to achieve the landmark figure.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will reach 1,000 goals for sure! He’s a beast,” Carvajal said.
The defender’s remarks reflect his belief in Ronaldo’s ability to continue scoring at the highest level, despite the demanding nature of professional football and the challenge of maintaining consistency over a lengthy career.
Ronaldo’s pursuit of 1,000 career goals would represent one of the most remarkable individual milestones in football, given the sustained scoring record required to reach the figure across club and international competitions.
The Portuguese forward has built his reputation on his finishing ability, athleticism, movement and determination, establishing himself as one of the most prolific goalscorers of his generation.
His achievements include a highly successful spell at Real Madrid, where he played alongside Carvajal and helped the Spanish club win major domestic and European honours.
Carvajal, who has shared the pitch with Ronaldo at Madrid, is therefore familiar with the forward’s quality and competitive mentality.
Ronaldo remains one of football’s most recognisable figures, with his goalscoring exploits and longevity continuing to draw attention from supporters, players and pundits.
Carvajal’s prediction adds to the praise surrounding the Portuguese star as he pursues further milestones in his career.
Although reaching 1,000 goals would require Ronaldo to maintain his scoring form, Carvajal expressed certainty that the forward would accomplish the feat.
The defender’s statement underlines the high regard in which Ronaldo is held by those who have played alongside him, particularly given the consistency and ambition that have defined his career.
