Comfort Erhabor, 20-year-old Portsmouth goalkeeper, celebrates her maiden call-up to the Super Falcons ahead of Nigeria’s WAFCON 2026 friendlies against Cameroon

Portsmouth goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has expressed excitement after earning her first senior call-up to the Super Falcons, Nigeria’s women’s national football team, DAILY POST reports.

The 20-year-old shot-stopper, previously part of Nigeria’s U-17 side, the Flamingos, was included in the squad for the upcoming double-header friendlies against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses.

Erhabor took to X to celebrate the milestone, writing: “An honour to have received my first senior call up, thank you Jesus.”

She has previously played for West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion, and this call-up marks a major step in her professional career.
