Edna Imade Bayern Munich transfer confirmed. The Nigerian striker joins from Granada and will spend 2025–26 on loan at Spanish club Real Sociedad
Bayern Munich Ladies have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Edna Imade from Spanish Liga F side Granada.
The 24-year-old forward has signed a contract with the Bavarian club that runs until 30 June 2029. However, she will spend the 2025–26 season on loan at Real Sociedad in Spain.
Imade impressed last season by finishing as the second-highest scorer in the Spanish league, netting 16 goals in 29 appearances. She was also named in the La Liga Women Team of the Season.
“This is a huge step forward in Edna’s career, and it reflects her progress in European football,” a source close to the player told press.
Bayern Munich are expected to closely monitor her development during the loan spell as she prepares to eventually join the first-team squad in Germany.
