The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) successfully prosecuted Satiregun on a three-count charge of obtaining by false pretence under the Advance Fee Fraud Act.

The conviction follows revelations that between 2019 and 2021, his institution deceptively admitted students into non-accredited courses such as Nursing and Public Health.

Despite approval from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for only four programs, the institution falsely promised international degree conversions and issued fraudulent admission letters.

Delivering judgment, Justice Anyalewa Onoja-Alapa ruled that the offences were clear-cut fraud and ordered all funds collected under false pretenses to be refunded. The judge further instructed the college to restrict operations strictly to NBTE-approved courses.
