The commission disclosed that 1,680,315 people registered for the polls, while 1,587,025 PVCs were collected as of February 10.

INEC said the figures indicate strong voter readiness but stressed that only those with valid PVCs will be allowed to vote.

All six area councils recorded high participation, with Kuje posting the highest PVC collection rate.

Other councils, including Abaji, Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kwali, and Abuja Municipal, also showed strong voter turnout.

INEC confirmed that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) will be used in all polling units, and results will be transmitted electronically.
