FCT Police say alleged bandits’ attack letter to Kungaboku and Paze communities was a hoax by mischief makers; residents urged to stay vigilant
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has clarified that an alleged threat letter from bandits targeting Kungaboku and Paze communities was a hoax.
The letter, reportedly delivered through a student, allegedly threatened attacks in retaliation for the death of a bandit commander during a recent security operation.
SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police spokesperson, confirmed that investigations revealed the letter was created by “mischief makers” aiming to spread fear and panic in the communities.
The police urged residents to remain calm, vigilant, and security-conscious, while disregarding the contents of the letter. Authorities continue to monitor the situation to ensure the safety of the affected communities.
