Speaking at his family’s annual Thanksgiving service at Abraham Tabernacle in Sagamu, Daniel described the nation’s trajectory as positive, saying, “Nigeria can only get better. The worst is behind us.”

The senator pointed to declining inflation rates, improved security responses, and ongoing policy reforms as evidence of the administration’s effectiveness, while acknowledging the continuing challenges faced by citizens.

Daniel urged Nigerians to sustain their faith and prayers for national progress, noting that more than 200 clergy members were present at the event, reflecting collective commitment to the country’s advancement.

Addressing public scepticism towards politicians, Daniel defended leaders committed to selfless service, referencing the legacy of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the first Premier of Nigeria’s Western Region.

He highlighted his own two decades of service as an example of integrity in governance.

The senator also detailed his constituency interventions, which include distributing motorcycles, grinding machines, freezers, and sewing machines to citizens, alongside infrastructure development and sponsoring eye surgeries for more than 4,000 residents.

He described these initiatives as complementary to federal government efforts aimed at improving welfare and livelihoods.
