George Ashiru inspires unity and transformational change at ADC Lagos event, welcoming over 5,000 new members and promoting social justice
George Ashiru delivered an inspiring welcome address at the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Coalition Convergence and Affirmation of Membership Programme in Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos.
The event drew prominent figures, including former Osun State Governor and ADC National Secretary Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Dr. Abimbola Ogunkelu, and Alhaji M.M. Ashorobi.
Oboh highlighted Ashiru’s focus on the ADC as a platform for transformational change, emphasizing Nigeria’s potential on the global stage.
He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to inclusive leadership, social justice, and egalitarian values, with a particular focus on strengthening Lagos State and building a better Nigeria.
Ashiru underscored the ADC’s integrity, describing the party as possessing a “DNA of credibility” and a logo symbolizing national partnership.
He also highlighted the party’s dedication to empowering youths, women, diaspora members, and restoring the middle class to promote a more equitable society.
Over 5,000 new members across all 20 Lagos local government areas were welcomed at the event. Ashiru urged party supporters to unite and mobilize their networks to expand the movement, concluding with a powerful assurance:
