Barcelona manager Hansi Flick praises the English Premier League as the best football league, citing its financial power ahead of Newcastle clash
Hansi Flick has described the English Premier League (EPL) as the best football league globally.
Flick made the remarks during his pre-match press conference ahead of Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash against Newcastle United on Tuesday night.
“The Premier League is the best league in the world,” Flick said. “It is incredible because they have a lot of money and can make decisions. We [LaLiga] are as strong as they are, and we [Barcelona] have to play with our philosophy against Newcastle and show it to the world.”
The Champions League match is scheduled to kick off at 9 pm at St. James’ Park.
