Alex Iwobi’s stunning Fulham strike shortlisted for EPL Goal of the Month, highlighting his skill and impact in the March fixtures

Alex Iwobi, Fulham midfielder, has been nominated for the Premier League March Goal of the Month following his long-range strike in the Cottagers’ 2-1 home victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Craven Cottage.

The Nigeria international doubled Fulham’s lead in the 34th minute with a side-footed finish from outside the box, marking his fourth goal of the season. Iwobi has also contributed three assists in 23 league appearances under manager Marco Silva.

Alongside his Goal of the Month nomination, Iwobi remains in contention for the Player of the Month award. Other contenders for the Goal of the Month include Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliott Anderson, William Osula, Bernardo Silva, Iliman Ndiaye, and John McGinn.
