More than a meal, Iyan Olodo by The City Pulse revives the heritage of Yoruba food culture. Served in calabash-style fashion with unadulterated palm wine, the experience channels a time when meals were sacred, communal, and rooted in tradition.

Located inside Lagos Television, Agidingbi, Ikeja, The City Pulse Lounge offers more than just food — it delivers a cultural immersion.

Guests hear yam being pounded fresh (except for pre-orders), surrounded by live Juju, Fuji, Gospel, and indigenous sounds every weekend.

Founder Ayoyemi Mojoyinola, better known as Ayo Mojoyin, envisioned Iyan Olodo by The City Pulse as a tribute to Yoruba ancestral ways.

“I conceptualised Iyan Olodo to bring back the memories of our forefathers… how they ate yam with fresh palm wine. As a journalist-turned-hospitality entrepreneur, I wanted to protect that experience,” he said.
