Jarvis confirms her breakup with Peller and urges the public to stop mocking him after his livestream car crash in Lagos

Jarvis made the disclosure during a live video shared online on Tuesday, reacting to widespread commentary surrounding Peller’s hospitalisation after the incident on the Lekki Epe Expressway.

Addressing social media reactions, Jarvis said public ridicule was aggravating an already distressing situation and urged users to show empathy.

Jarvis stressed that the incident should not be used to define Peller’s character, adding that she had never portrayed him as a bad person.

She described emotional control as the central challenge he faces, rather than ill intent.

According to Jarvis, the decision to end the relationship was necessary and should not be misinterpreted as abandonment.

She said the separation was intended to allow space for healing and improvement.

Jarvis explained that while she still cared deeply about Peller, the focus at this time was his wellbeing rather than the relationship itself.

She described the breakup as a pause from romantic involvement, not a withdrawal of concern or support.

Appealing directly to supporters and critics alike, Jarvis condemned what she described as harmful narratives and online mockery, saying they only deepened the pain surrounding the situation.

She urged the public to focus on gratitude that no life was lost and said her priority remained the wellbeing of both parties.

Jarvis concluded that not all breakups stem from hatred, but sometimes from a need for calm, clarity and recovery.

PUNCH Online had earlier reported that Peller crashed his vehicle on Sunday during a live Instagram broadcast titled “RIP Peller” while driving on the Lekki Epe Expressway.

The livestream showed him visibly distressed and making alarming statements moments before the crash.
