Jigan Baba Oja and Verydarkman feud has taken center stage online as the Nollywood actor fired back at allegations tying him to a covert WhatsApp group allegedly working to derail justice for the late singer, Mohbad.
The controversy erupted when Verydarkman, a vocal online critic, accused actress Iyabo Ojo of leading the group and claimed that Jigan, among other celebrities, was part of the alleged sabotage effort.
In response, Jigan took to TikTok Live to publicly dismiss the accusations, firmly refusing to share any chat history or private messages from the supposed group.
“If you like, listen to my explanation—so fine. Do I even owe you an explanation? No! As long as my conscience is pure; that’s what matters,” he said.

If you like, listen to my explanation—so fine. Do I even owe you an explanation? No! As long as my conscience is pure; that’s what matters.
“So fast Nigerians ain’t asking for the evidences no more! Something you paid 20m to achieve and you can’t post it no longer! Are we still in the slavery era? Na leg dey pain me not my brain! We shall see to the end of this! Thank you Allah, Olujo Mimo!”
