Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf distributes 600 motorcycles to social media influencers to boost government coverage and transparency

Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Saturday distributed 600 motorcycles to social media influencers and digital content creators across the state to enhance coverage of government programmes and policies.

Governor Yusuf said the initiative aims to empower social media practitioners while strengthening communication between the government and grassroots communities.

He explained that the motorcycles would allow beneficiaries to move freely across local areas to report government activities and development projects.

“Social media plays a critical role in shaping public opinion and promoting transparency in governance,” Governor Yusuf said, urging recipients to use the motorcycles responsibly and professionally.

The governor also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting young people and media practitioners as partners in development.
