Comedian KlintonCod criticizes President Bola Tinubu for remaining silent as Nigerians face rising living costs and petrol price hikes
Ekene Clinton Egbuna, popularly known as KlintonCod, has slammed President Bola Tinubu for the government’s silence amid worsening economic hardship in Nigeria.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), KlintonCod expressed frustration over the sharp increase in petrol prices over the past week, which has pushed up transportation, food, and other essential costs for many households.
“But do you guys know how crazy it is to know that we have a president who feels like he does not need to speak to the citizens when need be, like it’s not part of his role, and citizens deem it normal like it’s okay. Kai!” he wrote.
The comedian’s remarks highlight growing public frustration as Nigerians struggle to cope with rising living costs, questioning the absence of direct communication from the presidency on economic challenges.
