Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi re-elected Lagos APC Chairman by consensus at state congress with 2,000+ delegates
Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi has secured a second term as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State following the party’s state congress held on Tuesday at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
According to DAILY POST reports, over 2,000 delegates from across the state endorsed Ojelabi and other state executive members through a consensus arrangement.

- Secretary: Dr Adeola Jokomba
- Publicity Secretary: Mr Oluseye Oladejo
- Legal Adviser: Mrs Folashade Bakare
- Treasurer: Mr Abiodun Ayigbe
- Financial Secretary: Mr Banjo Adedoyin-Wasiu
- Organising Secretary: Mr Ayodele Adewale
- Youth Leader: Mr Seriki Muritala
The Chairman of the State Congress Committee, Mrs Stella Okotete, emphasized that Lagos remains the “heartbeat of progressive politics” and the foundation of APC’s ideology and discipline.
She affirmed that the congress followed democratic processes, ensuring inclusivity, transparency, and adherence to the party constitution.
Okotete called on aspirants and delegates to uphold sportsmanship, participate conscientiously, and respect the outcome to strengthen the party structure in support of the renewal agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
The congress reflects APC’s commitment to unity, service-oriented leadership, and consolidation of progressive ideals in Lagos State.
