The founder of Laredo Small Chops, one of Lagos’s most recognisable finger-food brands, Laredo has sustained a thriving business legacy for nearly three decades—a testament to his passion for innovation and excellence in service.

In his Independence reflection, Laredo expressed heartfelt appreciation to two prominent figures who have profoundly shaped his journey His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, and Alhaji Musiliu Adeola Smith, the retired Inspector General of Police.

“Their mentorship and fatherly guidance have deeply influenced my life,” he noted. “Following my father’s passing in 1988, they became true father figures, offering wisdom, kindness, and leadership that continue to inspire me.”

He described Oba Akiolu and Alhaji Smith as pillars of support and wisdom, praying for their long life and continued blessings.
