Ademola Lookman will aim to help Atlético Madrid secure a place in the Spanish Copa del Rey final against Barcelona, DAILY POST reports.
Atlético Madrid will visit Barcelona for the second leg of the semifinal on Tuesday night, carrying a commanding 4-0 advantage from the first leg.
Lookman, who joined the Metropolitano Stadium squad from Atalanta last month, contributed a goal and an assist in that first-leg victory.
The Nigeria international has already scored twice and provided two assists in the Copa del Rey this season. Barcelona will need to score five goals without conceding to overturn Atlético’s lead and reach the final.
Atlético Madrid is aiming to make its first Copa del Rey final appearance since the 2012/13 season, with Lookman expected to play a key role under coach Diego Simeone.
