Netufo hails Musa Sarkin-Adar’s appointment

Whitecloud TVET chief Netufo praises Musa Sarkin-Adar’s appointment as NEITI boss, calling it timely and impactful

The President and Chief Executive of Whitecloud TVET, Mr Netufo Jasper Oluranti, on Monday in Abuja congratulated Honourable Musa Sarkin-Adar on Musa Sarkin-Adar’s appointment as Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative.

The appointment was approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued by Mr Netufo, he described the decision as both perfect and timely, noting that Sarkin-Adar’s background in public service positioned him strongly for the role.

He cited his previous tenure as Chairman of the National Inland Waterways Authority and his service in the House of Representatives as evidence of his capacity to deliver purposeful leadership.

Mr Netufo praised Sarkin-Adar’s reputation for integrity and strategic foresight, expressing confidence that his stewardship would reinforce transparency and accountability across Nigeria’s extractive sector.

He added that the new appointee’s leadership style was well aligned with NEITI’s mandate to strengthen governance standards.

He also commended President Tinubu for what he called a decisive and impactful choice, emphasising that the administration’s selection was likely to usher in meaningful reforms within the organisation.

Mr Netufo affirmed that Whitecloud TVET would support the incoming Executive Secretary as he assumes his duties.

He said the organisation looked forward to the innovations and improvements expected to emerge during Sarkin-Adar’s tenure, describing the period ahead as potentially transformative for the agency.
