Nigeria successfully defended their team title, while Rwanda’s exceptional performances earned multiple personal accolades, highlighting their growing prominence in regional cricket.

Rwanda’s Didier Ndikubwimana received the Best Moment award after a decisive captaincy display against Nigeria in the group stage.

Ndikubwimana scored a composed 51, guiding Rwanda to a memorable 23-run victory—the only defeat Nigeria suffered during the competition.

Nigeria’s Danladi Isaac was named Best Batter after amassing 324 runs across nine innings, providing the backbone of Nigeria’s batting line-up and playing a pivotal role in securing their second consecutive West Africa Trophy title.

The Best Bowler award went to Rwanda’s Muhammad Nadir, who captured 15 wickets in 10 innings while maintaining an economy rate of 4.76. His precision and consistency made him one of the most difficult bowlers to face throughout the tournament.

In the field, Nigeria’s captain and wicketkeeper, Sulaimon Runsewe, earned the Best Fielder award.

Runsewe recorded 11 dismissals and one catch in 10 matches, consistently demonstrating sharp reflexes and composure under pressure.
