Nigerian Army opens online registration for 91 Regular Recruits Intake from March 30 to May 17, 2026. Eligible Nigerians can apply free of charge

The Nigerian Army has opened online registration for its 91 Regular Recruits Intake Exercise, offering opportunities to tradesmen, women, and non-trades applicants.

Registration starts on March 30, 2026, and ends May 17, 2026, with no fees for qualified Nigerian citizens.

Applicants must meet strict eligibility requirements, including being single, Nigerian by birth, medically and psychologically fit, possessing valid NIN and BVN slips, and having at least four WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS passes.

Tradesmen/women must also hold a Trade Test or City and Guild Certificate.

Age limits are 18–22 for non-trades and up to 26 for trades applicants. Minimum height requirements are 1.68m for males and 1.65m for females.

The recruitment process emphasises transparency, with all documents verified by issuing authorities. Candidates with falsified documents will be prosecuted, and no pre-selection is allowed.

Screening will take place in candidates’ states of origin, and shortlisted names will be published on the Nigerian Army website.
