NIMC spokesperson Kayode Adegoke confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday, declaring that subscribers can now enjoy uninterrupted NIN verification services.

The move ensures seamless operations for critical services such as SIM registration, SIM swaps, migration, and “Welcome Back” SIM recoveries.

With this integration, any issues NIN holders face regarding SIM-related activities should now be resolved directly by telecom operators.

NIMC emphasized that the NINAuth platform represents a major leap forward in digital identity management.

It puts the powerful control of personal data back into the hands of Nigerian citizens, enhances data protection, and simplifies service sign-on.

“This platform enhances data ownership and security, streamlining identity verification for millions of Nigerians,” the commission stated.
