Uwah’s clinical finishing has propelled Rivers Angels’ attacking charge, placing her ahead of Atume Doosuur of Edo Queens, who has six goals, and teammate Ramotallahi Kareem with five strikes.
Winner Onajite of Abia Angels and Tosin Rafiu of FC Robo Queens have also scored five times, keeping the race tightly contested as the league prepares for its decisive second stanza.
Rafiu’s form has been vital in maintaining FC Robo Queens’ control of Group B, blending attacking flair with tactical discipline.
Several forwards trail closely with four goals each, including Oluwakemi Adegbuyi (FC Robo Queens), Janet Akekoromowei and Kindness Ifeanyi (Bayelsa Queens), Seember Emmanuel (Confluence Queens), and Ifeoma Damian (Adamawa Queens).
