PDP chieftain Emmanuel Ogidi accuses INEC of bias after exclusion from political parties meeting ahead of the 2027 elections

Ogidi made the remarks on Monday during an interview on Arise Television, expressing concern over the exclusion of the PDP from a recent INEC meeting with political parties.

“The APC has failed Nigerians. The country is in a very sorry situation. We are resilient in the PDP, and by the grace of God, we will recover and defeat them in 2027,” Ogidi said.

He further criticised INEC, stating, “INEC called a meeting of all political parties and we were not there. They said they extended the invitation but we never got any invitation. These other political parties were there. How did they get the invitation? So, they have compromised. And it’s a dangerous thing that the umpire of an election is taking sides.”

The PDP stalwart also lamented the general frustration of Nigerians under the APC-led administration but expressed optimism that his party will overcome the challenges and secure victory in the next election cycle.
