The Nigerian international has been ruled out of Galatasaray’s immediate schedule, with his return carefully managed to avoid aggravating the injury.

The latest Osimhen Galatasaray Injury Update confirms he will miss league matches against Trabzonspor, Göztepe, Kocaelispor and Gençlerbirliği in the coming weeks.

Despite the setback, there is growing optimism within the club that Osimhen could make a timely return for one of the most anticipated fixtures of the season.

Galatasaray are scheduled to host arch-rivals Fenerbahçe at Rams Park on April 26 in a decisive Turkish Super Lig clash that could carry major implications for the title race.

The striker is now targeting that encounter as his comeback date.

Ali Naci Küçük, speaking via Habersarikirmizi, stated that Osimhen is expected to feature in the derby unless there is an unexpected complication in his recovery.

“Victor Osimhen will be on the field for the Fenerbahçe derby unless something negative happens,” Küçük said.

He further suggested that the striker remains confident about his recovery timeline, adding that Osimhen had expressed determination to return in time to help his team secure the league title.

“He himself has stated this clearly. Osimhen told Dursun Özbek, ‘Don’t worry, President. I will be on the field, and we will be champions,’” Küçük added.

The update provides a significant boost for Galatasaray supporters, who have been eagerly awaiting clarity on the striker’s condition following his injury setback in Europe.
