The award aims to fast-track execution, strengthen inter-state connectivity, and stimulate economic activity along the corridor.

Residents of Iwo have praised Governor Ademola Adeleke for the construction of a 3.6-kilometre dual carriageway in the town, alongside other ongoing infrastructure projects.

They said the upgrades will improve mobility, safety, and access to businesses and public institutions.

During an inspection of the dual carriageway, Engr. Moruf Ojebode, Director of Highways, said the governor had set a new pace in infrastructure delivery by constructing Iwo’s first dual carriageway.

“This administration awarded a 3.6-kilometre dual carriageway from Odo-Ori Market to Oja-Oba to the Post Office. Phase one is 50% complete, including drainage, walkways, and median installation.

Phase two, from the Post Office to Adeeke along the Iwo/Ibadan road, has not yet commenced,” Ojebode explained.

He also listed internal roads completed in Iwo, including Ansarudeen to Puti Road, Fesu Agbowo Road, Post Office to Oke-Ifa, Army Junction to Jagun Ode Road, and Junction Osogbo to Oke-Ola Road.

Regarding the Osogbo/Iwo/Ibadan road, Ojebode confirmed that the 55.6KM project had been divided into three sections and awarded to Pecular Ultimate Concerns, Kimzee Global Resources, and A’skorg Integrated Service Limited, with mobilisation set to begin this month.

Prof Lai Olurode, Chairman of the Iwo Board of Trustees, commended Adeleke’s infrastructural drive, describing the dual carriageway as the first of its kind in Iwo and a key part of the “Adeleke revolution” in Osun State.

Chief Mujidat Sarumi, Iyaloja of Iwo land, said the road project would enhance economic activities in the community and urged residents to support Adeleke for a second term.

Adron Homes and Properties, widely recognised as one of Nigeria’s foremost real estate development companies, has built a strong reputation for delivering secure, affordable and premium housing developments across the country.

Through this proposed initiative, the Group is set to extend its proven expertise in structured estate development into the agricultural sector.

During a tour of the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center, discussions between the leadership of Adron Group and the Center highlighted the critical role of modern infrastructure and structured development in addressing the challenges of Nigeria’s fragmented agricultural market system.

The proposed collaboration seeks to combine Adron Group’s extensive experience in land development and infrastructure with the agricultural expertise, livestock production capacity and market development experience of the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center, with the objective of creating a new and sustainable model for agricultural development.
