Former Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew predicts Arsenal will clinch the 2026 Premier League title, citing their points cushion over Manchester City and City’s earlier losses

Former Crystal Palace manager, Alan Pardew, has tipped Arsenal to win the 2025/26 Premier League ahead of Manchester City.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Pardew highlighted Arsenal’s points advantage:

“I think the points total they’ve got is enough of a cushion. When you look at Man City, they have lost five matches already. I don’t think they can lose six or seven.”

Pardew added that the league could be decided in April, stating that if Arsenal remain undefeated until then, they are on track to secure the title.

Currently, Mikel Arteta’s side leads City by five points, although they have played one more game. Pardew believes this lead gives the Gunners a decisive edge in the title race.

“For Arsenal, if you can remain undefeated until April, you will win the league,” he said.
