BBNaija star Phyna confronts police officers after they stopped her car abruptly, threatening to report the incident to senior command

The incident, captured on video and widely shared online, saw Phyna challenge the legality and safety of the officers’ roadside procedure.

Visibly frustrated, Phyna stepped out of her vehicle and questioned why her car had been singled out.

“Oga, I am a celebrity. How dare you stop me and say what you said?” she exclaimed, stressing that police officers must follow proper positioning and procedures when flagging down motorists.

Phyna highlighted the danger posed to all road users by the officers’ method.

She instructed her driver not to engage physically with the police and declared her intent to escalate the matter to senior police command to verify whether such stops were permissible.

“I want to call the authorities. Let’s ask them if this is how they train you to stop people,” she said.

Social media users responded with mixed reactions to the viral footage. Some criticised Phyna for her attitude, while others highlighted the safety risks of blocking vehicles in the middle of the road.

The incident comes shortly after Phyna revealed her willingness to reconcile with Afrobeats superstar Davido, almost two years after their online disagreement, signalling a period of reflection and maturity for the reality TV star.
