Portable escalates feud with actress Laide Bakare, drops diss song “Dabarabomi” while dressed as a woman, sparking outrage and online buzz

Portable Laide Bakare feud took a dramatic turn on June 20th as the controversial Nigerian singer released a diss song dressed in female attire, mocking the Nollywood actress who had earlier threatened to beat him up.

The clash began earlier in the week when Portable, real name Habeeb Okikiola, took to social media to call out Laide Bakare. He alleged that she invited him to perform at her party but lacked the funds to pay for his appearance.

He said his refusal provoked her anger, leading to her insulting his looks and background.

“You invited me to your party but didn’t have the money to pay,” Portable stated in a viral video. “Since then, you’ve been angry with me and started telling people I’m not handsome.

I’m not handsome, yet you still wanted me at your party. You said I’m a dirty boy from Sango, that’s why I’m calling you out. You started the fight.”

Laide Bakare did not take the accusation lightly. In a sharp response recorded in Yoruba, she warned Portable to stop mentioning her name.

In another clip, she publicly demanded his home address and promised to confront him physically, saying she would deal with him “the way single people do.”

Unfazed, Portable struck back with flair. The singer released a diss track titled Dabarabomi, sharing the video via his Instagram page. In the footage, Portable appeared dressed like a woman, openly ridiculing Bakare while dancing and mimicking her gestures.

The feud, laced with drama and insults, has stirred a mixture of amusement and concern across social media platforms. Many fans have questioned the extreme nature of the exchange, especially the decision to escalate it through music and role-play.

While neither party has backed down, the public spectacle highlights a growing trend in the entertainment industry, where private disagreements quickly become viral performances.
