Providus Bank Ado-Ekiti branch expansion continues as the lender opens a new branch to boost financial inclusion and support businesses in Nigeria
Providus Bank Plc has expanded its operations with the commissioning of a new branch in Ado-Ekiti, reinforcing its nationwide growth strategy aimed at deepening financial inclusion and supporting economic activity across Nigeria.
The bank in Ado-ekiti has branch expansion follows the bank’s compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s recapitalisation requirement completed in January 2025, positioning it for accelerated growth in key markets.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Deoye Ojuroye, said the new branch reflects the bank’s deliberate strategy to grow in economically active locations while strengthening its service delivery.
He noted that the expansion drive is focused on building a resilient financial institution that responds effectively to the needs of individuals, small businesses and larger corporate clients.
Ojuroye added that Providus Bank remains strongly capitalised within its regulatory category, describing this as a foundation for sustainable and responsible expansion.
According to him, the bank’s growth strategy prioritises stability, disciplined risk management and long-term value creation for customers and stakeholders.
The lender also confirmed plans to open additional branches across strategic locations in the coming year as part of efforts to enhance accessibility and broaden its service network nationwide.
The latest expansion underscores Providus Bank’s ambition to strengthen its footprint in Nigeria’s financial sector while supporting local enterprise and driving inclusive economic development.
