Ruger music comeback legal dispute was confirmed in a statement issued by the label, which explained that the singer stepped away from music following a personal legal case involving an ex-girlfriend who allegedly filed claims of emotional distress and damages.

BlownBoy Entertainment stated that the matter has now been resolved, clearing the path for Ruger’s return to recording and performance activities after a period of silence that had raised concern among fans.

In a message addressed to his fanbase, known as RU Nation, the label acknowledged the singer’s absence and expressed gratitude for the continued support shown during his time away from the public eye.

“For some time, Ruger was caught up in a series of personal challenges after someone he dated decided to sue him for alleged emotional distress and damages. That chapter is now behind him. A new chapter begins,” the statement read.

The label further confirmed that new music is scheduled for release in August, describing the upcoming project as the beginning of a refreshed creative phase for the artist.

Ruger is also expected to return to live performances, with scheduled appearances in Belgium, Málaga, Bali, Malawi and the United States as part of his summer tour calendar.

The announcement has been met with renewed excitement among fans, many of whom had speculated about the singer’s absence from the music scene in recent months.
