Senator Daniel praises Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwoolu for Lekki-Epe Expressway repairs, citing visionary leadership and development initiatives
Senator Daniel, former Governor of Ogun State and current representative of the Ogun East Senatorial District, has commended Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwoolu for the ongoing repairs on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
Speaking to journalists during a media retreat in Lagos on Saturday, Daniel noted that his administration in Ogun State adopted several development initiatives inspired by the Lagos government under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He described the Lekki-Epe Expressway project as a reflection of Sanwoolu’s creative leadership. “As someone who had lived most of my life in Lagos, I could recognise a working government when I see one.
Lagos is the flagship of development and a model for our national psyche, benefitting from continuous visionary leadership and deliberate careful planning since 1999,” Daniel said.
The former governor further praised the introduction of environmental sanitation day, describing it as a “loud initiative” that demonstrates the commitment of Governor Sanwoolu and his team to sustainable governance and civic responsibility.
Daniel concluded that the Lekki-Epe repairs and other projects in Lagos represent a continuation of conscious leadership with a focus on good governance and institutional continuity.
