Head coach Sergej Jakirovic stated that Ajayi, who has missed the past six games across all competitions, will rejoin group training sessions with the Tigers.

Jakirovic described the centre-back’s recovery as a positive development for the club’s defensive line.

The 32-year-old joined Hull City last summer on a free transfer from West Bromwich Albion. Since his arrival, Ajayi has made 12 league appearances and contributed one goal, providing stability and experience in central defence.

Club officials and fans have welcomed the news, noting that Ajayi’s return will strengthen Hull City’s campaign for the remainder of the season.

Jakirovic highlighted the defender’s professionalism and resilience in recovering from injury as key attributes.
