Senator Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, former Governor of Ogun State and current senator for Ogun East, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Oba Dr. Sikiru Kayode Adetona, GCON, Ogbagba II, on the remarkable occasion of his 65th coronation anniversary.

The congratulatory message, published in the Nigerian Tribune, reflects Senator Daniel’s profound respect for the monarch’s outstanding leadership and contributions to Ijebu-land.

Senator Daniel, who also holds the title of Otunba Obalofin of Ijebu-land, expressed his “immense joy and profound respect” for Oba Adetona as he celebrated this significant milestone.

According to Daniel, the Awujale’s 65-year reign is a testament to his “unwavering dedication, exemplary leadership, and profound wisdom,” highlighting the monarch’s vital role in promoting peace, progress, and cultural preservation in Ijebu-land and beyond.

The Senator also emphasised Oba Adetona’s tireless commitment to the welfare of his people, praising the monarch for his remarkable ability to balance the demands of modern times while upholding the rich traditions of Ijebu culture.

The message concluded with a traditional Yoruba blessing: “Kí adé pé lórí, kì bàtà pé lésè, Kabiyesi,” wishing the monarch longevity and continued success in his reign.
