Sol Campbell predicts Arsenal will defeat Chelsea and win the Premier League title after 4-1 North London derby triumph
Former Arsenal defender, Sol Campbell, has predicted that the Gunners will defeat Chelsea when they host the Blues in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, March 1.
Speaking after Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby, Campbell also backed Mikel Arteta’s side to claim the Premier League title this season.
Arsenal currently sit five points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand after 27 matches.
“A 4-1 win away from home, keep going, keep rocking, and we are going to get there. We are going to do it [win the Premier League title] this year,” Campbell told Metro UK.
The Gunners will face Chelsea in the league following their two-leg victory over the Blues in the Carabao Cup semi-final. Campbell expressed confidence in a repeat result.
“We have done [beaten] them in the cup, we can beat them again,” he said.
