Adeola, a leading contender for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket in Ogun State, made the appeal in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abeokuta by his Media Adviser, Kayode Odunaro.

The statement followed reports of billboards and posters being circulated in parts of the state promoting the senator’s governorship ambition.

While appreciating the show of support, Adeola said official campaign activities had not yet begun.

“I have been informed of the sighting of billboards and posters erected by supporters and groups in parts of the state soliciting support for my aspiration for Ogun 2027,” he said.

He stressed that he had not formally declared his intention, noting that he was awaiting the party’s timetable and further consultations.

“As a loyal party member who is fully cognizant of the processes and traditions of our great party, I am yet to declare my intention,” he added.

Adeola urged his supporters to respect due process and party guidelines, stating that his political approach remains rooted in grassroots engagement and discipline.

He also assured them that their efforts were appreciated but should align with lawful political conduct.

“I appreciate the time and resources expended by my supporters in advancing my cause, and I assure them that their commitment is deeply valued,” he said.
