Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has dismissed growing speculation about his next move in football, insisting that he remains focused and unconcerned about his immediate future following his departure from South African club Chippa United.
Stanley who left Chippa United in February before the expiry of his contract, is currently a free agent and has been linked with several clubs amid ongoing transfer rumours.
Nigeria international moved to calm the speculation, stating that no official agreement has been reached with any club despite widespread reports suggesting potential destinations.
“So, there are rumours everywhere. Anyone talking about any club, it’s a rumour,” Stanley Nwabali said, addressing the ongoing discussion around his next career step.
He added that any confirmed move would only be made public once a deal is finalised and officially announced by him or his new club.
“When you see me signing for any club, then you will know from the day I’m going, or probably the day I’m wearing the club’s shirt,” he stated.
