The camp, based at the Renaissance Hotels, marks the start of an intensive build-up ahead of the continental tournament.

All members of the coaching and backroom staff were already in camp, overseeing administrative, technical, and logistical arrangements to ensure the smooth arrival of players.

Their early presence underscores the team’s commitment to rigorous preparations and organisational excellence.

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was the first player to report to camp, arriving shortly after 2:00 a.m. local time, setting a standard of punctuality and dedication for his teammates.

Stanley Nwabali followed minutes later, giving the technical staff an immediate opportunity to focus on the critical goalkeeping department.

Midfielders Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro also joined the camp, further strengthening the squad as training sessions begin.

Additional players, including Igoh Ogbu, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Tochukwu Nnadi, Amas Obasogie, Ademola Lookman, and Semi Ajayi, were expected to arrive later in the evening.

The early arrivals and structured camp setup reflect Nigeria’s determination to hit the ground running as the Super Eagles target success in AFCON 2025.
