Super Eagles resume training at Sardienne Complex ahead of final 2025 AFCON group game against Uganda after 3-2 win over Tunisia
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will return to training on Monday ahead of their final group match against the Cranes of Uganda at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The session is scheduled to hold at the Sardienne Complex, starting at 5pm local time.
The team observed Sunday as a rest day following Saturday’s thrilling 3-2 victory over the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
Head coach Éric Chelle is expected to rest some key players, including Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Wilfred Ndidi, and Alex Iwobi, for the clash with Uganda.
The move is likely to give fringe players an opportunity to stake a claim for a starting berth.
Tuesday’s group-stage encounter will take place at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, where Nigeria will aim to secure qualification to the knockout stage.
