Federal Government opens Technical Facilitators recruitment for one-year service in technical colleges across Nigeria. Apply before 16 March 2026
The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Education, launched a nationwide recruitment on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, for Technical Facilitators in Federal Technical Colleges.
The programme is part of a one-year ministerial intervention aimed at reducing the country’s skills gap and improving vocational education.
Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike, stated that the recruitment targets qualified professionals with industry experience and strong teaching skills.
“This intervention aims to strengthen competency-based technical education and equip students with practical skills required in the workforce,” Wike said.
Applications will undergo a merit-based screening process, though submission does not guarantee selection.
Candidates must complete applications by 11:59 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
The ministry emphasised that applicants should possess relevant pedagogical competence and be prepared for a one-year commitment.
The recruitment is expected to improve skills training nationwide and enhance the delivery of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Officials urged interested professionals to apply early through the official portal and warned against relying on unverified sources for recruitment information.
The initiative follows similar federal interventions, such as the National Health Fellows programme, aimed at strengthening public service delivery across Nigeria.
The Federal Ministry of Education described the recruitment as a transparent and rigorous process, highlighting that only qualified candidates will be considered for the programme.
