Timini Egbuson unveils the trailer for romantic drama ‘Love and New Notes’, set for nationwide release on February 13, starring Sophie Alakija and Odunlade Adekola
Actor and producer Timini Egbuson has unveiled the official trailer for his upcoming romantic drama, Love and New Notes, scheduled for nationwide cinema release on 13 February.

Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Egbuson wrote: “Every house has its secrets…and love always finds a way out. Love & New Notes In cinemas nationwide February 13. Timini Egbuson @_timini presents love & new notes.”
Directed by Kayode Kasum, the film features a star-studded ensemble cast including Sophie Alakija, Odunlade Adekola, Eniola Badmus, and Kamo State.
Set in Lagos in 1984, Love and New Notes explores love, ambition, and relationships against the backdrop of a sudden government-mandated currency change.
The trailer promises a compelling mix of romance, drama, and suspense, with Egbuson portraying Boma, a struggling young man navigating personal and societal challenges.
Produced by Muyi Banti, the film marks another milestone in Egbuson’s growing career, following his previous production credit in the romantic drama Reel Love.

The release continues to build anticipation for Valentine’s Day, with fans eager to see the Lagos-set story unfold on the big screen.

During his tenure, he negotiated major international partnerships with organisations including Viacom, MTV Base Africa, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the English Premier League.
He also played a major role in pioneering Cineplex culture in Nigeria and West Africa, while leading the development of Silverbird Galleria projects and cinema expansions across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Ghana, and Kenya.
Mr. Roy Murray-Bruce currently serves on the boards of several companies including Silverbird Group, Silverbird Entertainment Ghana, Silverbird West Africa, Domino Group of Companies, and SAMUELSON Consulting Group, where he provides strategic guidance and governance oversight.
