The Renewed Hope Ambassadors have praised President Bola Tinubu’s administration for ongoing infrastructure projects across Northern Nigeria
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) has commended President Bola Tinubu for what it described as transformative infrastructure projects across Northern Nigeria, insisting that ongoing developments demonstrate the administration’s commitment to regional growth.
The group made the assertion in a statement issued by its Director of Media and Publicity, Tunde Rahman, following a media inspection tour of federal projects across the North-West zone.
According to the statement, the tour was organised in collaboration with the Presidential Media Team and covered major project sites spanning Zuba Junction in the Federal Capital Territory through Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa and Kebbi states.
The RHA stated that the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Works, is currently executing 260 Special Intervention Projects nationwide, with 48 located in the North-West, the highest concentration across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones.
It described the development as evidence of sustained commitment to infrastructure renewal, particularly in road construction, transportation and economic connectivity across the region.
During the inspection, the delegation visited the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway, where reconstruction works involving concrete pavement and solar-powered streetlights are ongoing, with significant sections reportedly nearing completion.
In Kaduna, the group assessed the long-abandoned Kaduna Western Bypass project, noting that construction had reached approximately 50 percent completion after more than two decades of stagnation.
The delegation also inspected the Kaduna-Kano-Katsina-Maradi railway project, which is expected to strengthen cross-border connectivity between Nigeria and Niger Republic.
In Kano, the team visited several health and education infrastructure projects, including facilities at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and a proposed Agricultural Incubation Centre at Bayero University Kano.
Additional projects inspected included irrigation schemes, solar energy installations and erosion control works across key locations in the state.
The group further reported steady progress on sections of the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway in Kebbi State, where construction activities such as concrete pavement and streetlight installation are ongoing.
The RHA concluded that the scale and spread of ongoing projects indicate strong development prospects for the North-West, urging critics to visit project sites for firsthand assessment of progress.
